Happy Birthday to us! Ad 2 Madison is officially a teenager. Light the candles and pour the bubbly, it’s our 13th birthday!
We get it… the number 13 has a bad rep for being unlucky. But that’s not going to stop us… year 13 is going to be our year! Here are some reasons why we are lovin’ the number 13.
A baker’s dozen actually has 13 baked goods. This doesn’t make any sense, and I’m not even going to fight it. Why would I ever argue over an extra cupcake?
There were 13 original colonies in the US. These colonies basically laid the groundwork for the beautiful US of A we live in today. So… that’s pretty cool.
The Olsen twins were born on the 13th. Relevant or not, we can’t help but get excited over sharing a similarity with the OG divas – Mary Kate & Ash.
In Italy, the number 13 is actually considered lucky. Any country that eats all the croissants, pizza and pasta they want, is a country I can get behind.
It’s our first year as a teenager. We’re past the years of our early childhood and on our way toward fully-fledged teenage-dom. Besides the fact that our club can officially watch PG-13 movies without parental guidance, we have really blossomed into an awesome club. (We’ll even spare you the awkward, geeky years.)
