On Thursday, September 25, 2008, Sean Mullen, VP/Creative Director at Hiebing, shared his insight into the future of the advertising industry at Ad 2 Madison's club year kick-off event—Digital This, New Media That: Emerging Trends in Advertising. Nearly 50 Ad 2 Madison members, guests and students gathered at Hiebing's offices to hear Mullen's top five trends and three governing principles to succeed in strategic communications. Mullen discussed new uses for the third screen, ways rich media is becoming even richer, how social networks are actually becoming social, why content is the new currency and why opting-in is the new black. The event received rave reviews from attendees.
