An update from your President on behalf of Ad 2 Madison:

We are two months into our 2020-2021 Ad 2 club year and six months into our “new normal.” The beginning of each club year brings its own challenges of transition, however this year brings new challenges for Ad 2 to overcome. Your board members have been working hard the last few months to make the most out of our current situation. As of now, all events will be held virtually for the foreseeable future. 

Ad 2 National has made great strides to bring all clubs — and members — across the country together this year. As all events will continue to be virtual for the foreseeable future, we invite all members to participate in Ad 2 events from all over the country. Ad 2 has 20 clubs across the nation, and we all host educational and social events. 

In addition, our board is here to help you in any way we can, including reviewing resumes (should you find yourself in need of freshening yours up), connecting you to industry leaders, sharing career advice, or even just commiserating with other young professionals. Always feel free to contact us. We are here to support our members in any way we can. 

2020 also marks a historic milestone for our club as we affiliate with AAF Madison under one organization. Each club will continue to function separately, but our newfound partnership will strengthen each club’s operating foundation. We are very excited to share this news and look forward to continuing to work and grow together. 

For our 2020-2021 club year we welcome several new board members. Please welcome Kelli Calkins, Membership Chair; Kara Rheingans, Programming Chair; and Oley Yager, Public Service Chair. We strive to make our membership as beneficial as possible to all young professionals in the marketing, communications, public relations, and advertising fields. To all of our amazing members, we thank you and appreciate your dedication and commitment to Ad 2 Madison. We look forward to connecting with you this year. Stay safe and healthy.
